When Pampers Make a Woman's Day

My friend April, a soon to be mother, called me one morning.

“Ron, you’re unbelievable.”

“Why you say that April?”

“I just received six packages.” she said.

“You just made my day. No, in fact, you just made my week.”

“April, you do realize that two of those packages contain diapers.”

“So effectively you’re saying I made your day by sending you some pampers.”

April laughed. “I didn’t look at it that way, but now that I think about it, you’re right.”

“Yup.” I said while laughing. “Now if only other women were so easy to please.”

  1. Women tend to become excessively practical during pregnancy and this is something us guys never completely understand. And your friend has a lot of issues going through her mind, including the cost of raising a baby. Call it the checklist from Hell and it’s ever present, all day long. Intentional or not, you just reached out & touched with her through 2 boxes of pampers – you checked off one of her check list boxes.
