Misleading Headlines: Pullout Methods Explained

I started a new series called Misleading Headlines to bring to light my annoying attention to detail. Read on for the first headline.

Did you come here to learn about pullout methods?

  • How to pullout of Iraq?
  • How to get out of a parking lot?
  • How to use the oldest form of birth control?
  • Or, how to back out of advertisements for radio and TV?

It’s obvious right?

  1. lol. Pullout the ads! lol. I would love to see people holding signs on the streets saying "Pullout the ads" instead of "Pullout the troops" heh.

I wonder what their [slate and others] have as their policy when it comes to typos and mistakes like these. Do they change the title or do they just let it go because they are huge and can get away with it?
