Life is a Blog – Specialties

The Life is a Blog series is a series reflecting on my past year of blogging. The series aims to gather feedback from my readers in order to make improvements to my blog. You can find the rest of the series in the Life is a Blog category.

Just like in real life, bloggers have their own specialties. There are blogs that specialize in photography, pet care, blogging, technology, new products, medical care, color, design, programming, and much more.

I have a hard time providing a specialty on this blog due to its personal nature. If I find something I want to write about here, I write about it. I have noticed that over the course of the year of blogging, I have written less and less about myself.

Writing about myself from time to time is important, but I’d rather not bore people with the details.

I know I have a broad array of topics, but what do you think this blog specializes in? Is there something you would like to see me write more about?

  1. I think this blog specializes in sending a clear message to the blog community that Bes writes the best posts, and that The Reasoner should be everyone's browser homepage.

Hmmm, besides that, this blog may specialize a bit on your views of the word with logic behind your statements. Your "500 words" and similar posts aim to talk/debate about some issues in order to convey a point too.

Your customer service posts are awesome, both here and elsewhere [ 😉 ] as you talk about things through experience. 🙂

  2. Thanks Bes for your feedback. I use Google as my homepage, and every now and then your feed items show up there. Does that count? 😛

About my talk/debate: I do try to antagonize people sometimes don't I?

  3. This blog specializes in people, people relationships, asking readers tough questions like "what do you think this blog specializes in?", challenging readers to think outside the box.

I'd like you to write more about your views on life, work, blogging, politics. Sprinkle all that with some bits of humour and/or a soft sarcasm 🙂

  4. inspirationbit,

I have yet to master how to get my dry humor to come across in a blog post. 🙂

I will definitely take your suggestions. And throw religion in there as well since that is a favorite topic of many. 😛

  5. I'd enjoy reading more on life, work and religion. Favorite music, movies, books you are reading. Your writing is awesome so no need for blog anxiety there. 😉

  6. I like your posts that encourage discussion, like your 500 Words posts and your Christianity posts. Discussion helps hone ideas.
