I Miss You Arizona
This past weekend I went to Sierra Vista, Arizona and watched my good friend get married.
It’s the first wedding I’ve been able to attend since a door closed in my life.
As I flew into Tucson and made the hour or so drive down to Sierra Vista, I couldn’t help but be reminded of the three years I spent in Phoenix.
It was hot. It was windy. It was desert. But I loved it.
Being back in Arizona made me wonder, “Could I possibly call this home?”
It seems I’ve been to every weather extreme. I’ve lived in Fairbanks, Alaska. I’ve lived in a tropical environment (Philippines). I’ve lived in a dry climate (Las Vegas). And I’ve also lived in a rather humid place (Northern Alabama).
However, none could compare to the desert of southern Arizona.
I’d go back in a heartbeat.
