A pet peeve is a minor annoyance that can instill extreme frustration in an individual (source: Wikipedia).
Since it is Peeve Week at this blog, I thought it would be appropriate to ask the ultimate question (not really): What is your biggest pet peeve?

Vivien, if I had to guess your biggest peeve, it would be people who think they are good at something when they really aren’t.

Bad English - that is my pet peeve. You see, I live in a country where English, though not as widely spoken as local dialects, is one of the official languages. The result? I encounter several people who try to speak English and fail miserably.
