Peeve Week 2 Explained
A “peeve” is a cause to be annoyed, irritated, or resentful.
Peeve Week was originally started on this blog because various people would be talking to me and say, “Oooh, you should write about this.” The topic, of course, was a peeve that someone had. I decided that I would set aside my blog for one week and talk about the pet peeves that people had. The result was the first Peeve Week.
Now Peeve Week 2 is almost here and I’m pretty excited. Here’s how to get the most out of Peeve Week 2:
Read the Various Peeves
At the end of Peeve Week 2, I will be setting up a poll so that readers like you can vote for their five favorite Peeve Week 2 posts. So while you are reading, keep a place in the back of your mind regarding which peeve posts you really like.
Give the Authors Feedback
After reading the various peeves, give the authors feedback in the form of comments, stumbles, diggs, etc.
If you disagree with an author, let the author know about it. If you have other peeves to add, feel free to add them in.
Visit the author’s website and subscribe to their feed (if applicable).
Vote in the Peeve Week 2 Poll
At the end of Peeve Week 2, I will be setting up a poll where readers and authors can vote for their five favorite Peeve Week 2 posts. The poll will be up for five days. The authors of the two most favorite posts will be given a $25 Amazon.com gift certificate.
Here are the rules for the contest:
- The two most popular Peeve Week 2 posts will be selected for a $25 Amazon.com gift certificate.
- A contributor cannot win both prizes.
- I reserve the right to overrule the poll results.
- I reserve the right to extend the poll.
- I reserve the right to change the prize.
Conclusion
Thank you for reading and please subscribe to the feed to keep up with the many peeve posts coming your way.
