Peeve Week 2

The last Peeve Week on this blog was a tremendous success. There were thirteen peeves discussing various topics.
It’s Almost Time for Peeve Week 2
My goal is to have Peeve Week 2 on this blog from June 11th through the 15th. I still have many things to work out as far as details, which is why I am making the announcement so early. I really need help from you in order to make Peeve Week 2 a success.
How You Can Help with Peeve Week 2
Help Brainstorm Topics
You can help by coming up with some topics for the second Peeve Week. I will only be picking five (one for each day), but the more the better.
Here are six potential topics that were thought of after the last Peeve week:
- Driving
- Religion
- Politics
- Restaurants
- Stereotypes
- Internet
Help Brainstorm Incentives for Guest-Writers
The last Peeve Week was extra special because it allowed other people to write for this website and lay out their peeves on particular topics. However, I’m trying to be somewhat ambitious and would like five peeve topics a day (one entry a day will be mine). That amounts to twenty guest-contributed articles.
The problem with getting guest-writers is how do I incentivize someone to write for this site? I was thinking of having a contest, but what could I offer as a prize?
Help Brainstorm Incentives for Other Writers
The last Peeve Week was a minor group project. I’m hoping to not only get guest-writers for my site, but link to others that decide to participate on their own blogs. Should there be an incentive for these kind of writers other than a link?
Conclusion
This post is desperately asking for your feedback and the success of Peeve Week 2 depends on feedback such as yours. Please weigh in.
Thank you.

How about this topic: Misconceptions. An example can be what misconceptions men have about women and vice versa.
(A link back is good enough for me, although another custom plugin wouldn’t hurt either :-))

How about: The simultaneous love and hate of the consumer culture, or global warming.
Perhaps you could ask one person to write on a topic you choose on their own blog and ask someone to take the opposite position on your blog or something along those lines.

My friend Roger came up with these topic ideas…
Educational - Cheating, grading.
Gender
Politics - The Iraq War, September 11 Victims
Lawsuits (Sexual Harassment, stuff like that)
Culture Differences
Relationships

I’m in!
Maybe the participants can get a mention on the RA Project site, or can have their submissions discussed on other sites [like mine]? I think a link should be sufficient, as people who want to write for the sole reason of writing may write better than people writing only to win a prize.
The topics that Roger came up with are amazing too! Maybe we can have a poll on the topics so as to choose something for each day, or assign a specific blogger a certain topic to write about?

Bes,
I’m planning on having 5 topics like last time. Additional topics can be reserved for additional Peeve Weeks.
Cetroyer,
That sounds like a good “peeve week conclusion” type topic. Good idea.
All,
So no prizes? Just a link?
