Fourth Reader Appreciation Week Prize: A …

This contest is now closed. Thank you to all who entered.

I’m pretty clueless right now what to give out for my fourth Reader Appreciation Week prize.

I’m taking a tip from InspirationBit on how I handle this prize:

The commentator with the most helpful suggestions (decided by me) will be given the non-monetary prize of their choice. If I am unable to give out the suggester’s non-monetary prize, I will offer alternatives to the winner.

The deadline for entering this contest is April 12th at 1800 CMT.

  1. Okay, Ronald. My suggestions will be regarding your blog’s design. Overall, I really like it – it’s easy on the eye, I like the soft gradients, and I like how you organize the posts, the illustration is fabulous…

    My only two suggestions are:

    1. Re-design the main menu navigation. Right now it looks like a table but it’s not… a bit out of place.
    2. Make the footer a bit prettier – it’s too boxy. At least, make it the same size as the main content area – to make it look more like a continuation of your design, rather than a neglected cousin :-)

My prize wish: create a custom plugin for me (and others). A WordPress plugin that will proportionally resize my uploaded images to a pre-defined size, and link them to the original image in a popup window. Also, I’d like to announce that plugin and post the download instructions on my blog. However, you’ll be the author of the plugin. I’d state on my blog that this plugin was custom designed for me by Ronald :-)
