Protesting the Funerals of the Bus Crash Victims

This is almost beyond belief, but the Westboro Baptist Church will be protesting at the funeral of the bus crash victims. You can read about it by clicking the following link: School bus crash victim remembered at funeral.

The fact that this group will be protesting at the funerals because the girls “deserved to die” is beyond appalling.

Update: 11/26/2006

I learned today that Westboro did indeed protest, but the protesters’ view was blocked by two large school city buses. Ah, the irony.

Another Update

Dr. Phat Tony has a video of the protesters. As you can see from the video, the protesters are well hidden.

  1. There was less than ten of them and it was pretty pathetic. There were as many anti-westboro protestors.

  2. It’s good to know that good ol’ Huntsville will not tolerate religious extremists.
