Back to Stratford
I was in a counseling session when my phone began to vibrate. I set my phone to vibrate so that my counseling session was not interrupted. I looked at the caller and saw that it was my dad. I had a gut feeling that something was wrong with my Mema (grandmother). I didn’t answer, but I did call my dad back after the counseling session. My fears were confirmed. My Mema had entered into surgery and was not expected to make it.
After I got home for the day, I was informed that my Mema had indeed not made it. She had entered into her final struggle for life and did not pull through. She is in heaven with my Pepa(grandfather) now.
I am heading to Stratford to pay my respects for this wonderful lady. I don’t know her as much as I should have, but I’m rather thankful that I got to visit her while she was in relatively good health.
I hope all is well on your (the reader) front. I shall commence blogging when I return this Saturday.

[...] On my recent trip to Stratford, I had my hair cut. My sister had just taken some leave from Iraq and was rather shocked by my long hair. In a twist of circumstances, I agreed to have my hair cut. We went to Dumas, Texas and bought some clippers. The next day we went back to the Dumas Wal-Mart and had a professional finish the job. Here are the before and after pics. [...]
