Plead for Forgiveness

Please come break me from these chains.
I seem bound for eternity.
These chains hold me in place,
Drenching my quest for freedom.
Why have I allowed entrapment?
It was my choice for these chains.
Yet I can’t stand the burden.
For freedom, my heart is ready.
Through my faith my hope is driven.
My heart is free for I’m forgiven.
